2. Michigan .9697
3. West Virginia .7862
4. Florida .7791
5. Louisville .7621
6. Auburn .7589
7. Texas .7562
8. USC .7152
9. Notre Dame .7151
10. California .7133
11. Tennessee .7000
12. Rutgers .5153
West Virginia will fall after this week. far. they were ranked 13th by the computers, where as Notre Dame was ranked 5th. They will fall out of the top 10 in the BCS. Unfortunately for Notre Dame, no one else above us has a challenging game this week. Assuming that Tennessee loses to LSU tonight, then the BCS rankings will most likely be as follows next week:
1. Ohio State
2. Michigan
3. Louisville
4. Florida
5. Auburn
6. Texas
7. Notre Dame (we will jump USC after beating North Carolina)
8. USC
9. California
10. West Virginia
11. Rutgers
This week, we will be playing against Air Force. Luckily for us, there are much tougher games for teams ranked ahead of us this week. Ohio State and Michigan should keep on winning, but Louisville is playing at Rutgers. I dont know about you, but I think that Rutgers has a very good chabce of keeping their undefeated season going. Also, Florida is playing against South Carolina, and Auburn is playing against Georgia. Now, we all know that many things will have to go right for us, so let's just assume that Louisville loses and so does Florida. The BCS Rankings would be as follows:
1. Ohio State
2. Michigan
3. Auburn
4. Texas
5. USC (they will jump us after beating Oregon)
6. Notre Dame
7. Rutgers
8. California
9. West Virgina
In this week, we are playing against Army. This is a big week for us. Ohio State is playing Michigan. Auburn is playing at Alabama, and California is playing at USC. We all know that as bad as it sounds, we need Michigan to win, and win big. Also, we need USC to beat California. Assuming that Michigan, USC, and Alabama all win, the rankings would be:
1. Michigan
2. Ohio State
3. USC
4. Texas
5. Notre Dame
6. Rutgers
7. West Virginia
Although the rankings will first come out like this, no one will want to see a OSU-Michigan rematch, so expect to see Ohio State drop more two weeks after this game, then right after it. This week, we play USC. Texas plays against Texas A@M. We need to win this game obviously, and Texas will beat A@M. The rankings would be:
1. Michigan
2. Texas
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame
5. Rutgers
6. West Virginia
This week, the only meaningful game is Rutgers at West Virginia. We need West Virginia to win this game, and assuming they do, the rankings would be:
1. Michigan
2. Texas
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame
This week is the Conference Championship Games. Texas will most likely be playing against Nebraska. We need them to lose obviously and if they do the rankings will be:
1. Michigan
2. Notre Dame
3. Ohio State
You're probably wondering why the rankings would be like this. If the Michigan-OSU game is as lopsided as I am hoping that it will be, then no one will want to see a rematch. It will seem unlikely, but the voters will change the ranking of Notre Dame and Ohio State even if both of them aren't playing.
Well this all seems impossible I'm sure, but here's what we need to have happen week by week:
11/4: LSU beats Tennessee
11/11: Rutgers beat Louisville
South Carolina beats Florida
11/18: Michigan destroys Ohio State
USC beats California
Alabama beats Auburn
11/25: Notre Dame beats USC
Texas beats Texas A@M
12/2: West Virginia beats Rutgers
Conference Championship: Texas loses
1. Ohio State .9864
2. Michigan .9697
3. West Virginia .7862
4. Florida .7791
5. Louisville .7621
6. Auburn .7589
7. Texas .7562
8. USC .7152
9. Notre Dame .7151
10. California .7133
11. Tennessee .7000
12. Rutgers .5153
