How can he say this when in his first year, he was 1 neutral site win against Utah away from making the 4-team playoff in what was by far his best season at SC to date?

BYU is still closer to making a playoff than USC has been. Our schedule got upgraded

Prior to this year, he wouldn't let former players back at practice. This spring, that has changed. In addition to hiring Gary Peterson, it appears to me that he is turning a new leaf. Which leads me to believe LR was told that he must make some major changes, or he will be gone.

I don’t understand why a coach wouldn’t want former players involved in some small or large capacity
