Feeling My Way Along

If i sit behind Phork, then you sit right next to GD93!

Really?

I have my head in the clouds, (or someplace where it's dark) and I can't see a thing...

SteveM

P.S. I added the "or someplace where it's dark" to pre-empt you guys...

Well THE Oregon State University has had some recent success vs. USC. While Ohio State has had some recent success against nobody outside of the Big 10, MAC and whatever conference Youngstown State is in!!

Some of you guys need to be checked for drug use. We are NOT in the same class as USC. Sorry, but I am being a realist. They may very well lose to some team this year they have no reason to get beat by, but it will not be the IRISH. They do not overlook us, they will be as geeked for us as they were for OSU. No sneaking into LA being the Irish. We will take our beatdown and move on. USC is SOOOOO loaded at every position. They have some incredible talent just waiting to play. The intelligent ND fan will be really happy with 8-4 or 9-3. I still believe this team will have a few losses. I do not want us going 10-2 or 11-1 and getting back into a BCS game this year against the likes of LSU, Oklahoma, Georgia, USC. We will take another beatdown and end the year on two bad losses. I want a bowl where we win and gain momentum for 2009. Two beatdown losses to end the year will just give all the talking heads fodder for the offseason.

Late to the party on this response, but that kind of sounds like the way the '87 season ended. Understood that the coaching dynamic is a bit different (Lou year 2 vs. CW year 4), but would not be an unbearable outcome. A year wiser, these sophs and many of our frosh would be well served by an opportunity to play multiple big time programs this year, and not to be falsely inflated by an admittedly weak schedule this year. Looking at the list above, I really think OU is the only one of those teams that a clock-cleaning is truly a 'no-doubter.'

Let me now put the cart back behind the horse.

guys, this thread has nothing to do with US......

it was a USC breakdown.... I would have LOVED for ND to be the ones to do what OSU did tonight but I'll take it... anytime a dirty program like that falls I am happy....

btw, a teacher friend of mine is a tOSU grad and her fam still lives in columbus she said back there all they say is how Florida and USC are way too dirty and that is why tOSU can't hang with them,........ now if tOSU is complaining about how bad a team cheats then all I have to say is "Damn".....

Camper you were right all along, people thought they were bad b/c of the Poodle, and Mualuaga getting a couple more tats, a beatdown of Virgina (terrible, spelled like that on purpose) and Ohio St., who blows. They are good, but I love college football these days, you are in danger anytime you go to someone else's house.
