This Saturday at 10 PM ET, the biggest card of the year, and one of the best UFC cards of all time will transpire.
In the Main Event, Conor McGregor will take on Jose Aldo of Brazil for the Undisputed Featherweight Title. Aldo is the current champ, and McGregor became the Interim Champ back at July after Jose pulled from the fight and Conor beat Chad Mendes. A McGregor win would make him the 1st Irish Champ, and only other person to hold the Featherweight crown in UFC history.

In the Co-Main Event, the Middleweight Title is up for grabs as Long Island's Chris Weidman takes on California's Luke Rockhold. Chris has defended his title against all-time greats like Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida, but Rockhold is an absolute killer. This will be two great American fighters in their prime, and should be an amazing fight.

The rest of the main card is stacked with 3 fights with big-time implications going forward:
In the middleweight division, former Olympic Silver Medalist Yoel Romero of Cuba takes on Jacare Souza is what is essentially a #1 contender fight to take on the winner of Weidman-Rockhold.
At Welterweight, the stoic Icelandic Gunnar Nelson, teammate of Conor McGregor, will go head to head with Demian Maia in what should be a display of two world class Jiu Jitsu practioners. This a big test for Gunnar, who looks to solidify himself as a legitimate title contender in the division.
The 1st fight of the main card will be in the Featherweight division, as Max Holloway takes on Jeremy Stephens. Both of these guys are legit; Holloway has won 7 straight since losing a decision to Conor McGregor in 2013, and Stephens is coming off an amazing flying knee knockout of Ricardo Almeida back in July.
The reason I share this is because if you have never seen a UFC event, or maybe have been away from the sport for a while, this is a great card to get back into it. 5 amazing fights that will be action packed, with 4 of the best on the planet doing battle in the Main and Co-Main.
Action begins Saturday night at 8 PM ET on Fox Sports 1 with the prelims that include fan favorite Urijah Faber. Also, there is a free event on FS1 on Friday night that is headlined by Frankie Edgar and Chad Mendes, 2 killers fighting for the next title shot against either Aldo or McGregor. Tune in!
