Tyler - Why USC?

I was just checking USC's depth chart. They have listed 11 guys at tailback and that doesn't include committments from this year. It doesn't make sense that he would want to commit there unless Petey is telling him that he is better than all of them and should play quickly.

I don't see that Michigan would be a major challenge - for some reason I think that he will either stay home and play in California - or play at Notre Dame.

Thoughts?

I was more positive about him choosing ND earlier...but now I am thinking he won't. I have heard that he wants to stay near home, etc.

But also, USC proved that in one year they can make TWO guys VERY successful. That says a lot for their program. They used Bush and White in different situations quite effectively...

I agree that USC is very deep at RB...and ND could use him quickly though.

I hope he chooses ND...it seems to make the most sense...but in the end I suspect it will be the intagibles that Tyler chooses, not just counting bodies on a depth chart.

You might want to check with the NCAA before making wagers on recruits. Not sure that's legal unless you're USC or Ohio.
