Gold Helmet and Irish Envy look very very similiar with many of the same posters, has there ever been any talk of possibly joining the two sites together.

Nice thought. But never gonna happen. As SoCal put it, very long story. And the reason you see the some of the same posters on each site is out of respect and friendship of some of the posters.

Great posters on both sites...and obviously GH was formed because of prior issues with Mike Frank (the bastard) from Scout.

Well if you actually visited both sites and checked them out then you don't need to ask that question of any poster. Different people feel at home at different sites. I do like IE but my home site is GH and will remain that way.
