Truce between ND web sites.

Most of us belong to more than one ND site, and have seen folks who talk bad about other sites. Isn't it about time we just admit that each site has quality posters and great threads. We all may have are favorites, but we still all love ND football, except for the occasional flamer who shows up. This recently happened on my home site and a mod from here kinda gave me the idea to do this. But please don't tell SoCal he made me think . Dude already has a big enough ego .

works for me. in the past i posted negative things about DD. i was wrong and went back and deleted my posts a few weeks ago. as dayton pointed out, if one board is not for you, no purpose in coming here to bash that board. just leave it be.

(and it's true, i tend to have a more favorable view of myself than i ought. but i don't like eggos)

I'm a member on all the three sites (DD, IE, GH) and I try to be respectful of all members on each. There are things that I like about each site, and some things I don't really like on each site - but none of them belong to me, so I just try and roll with the punches and have fun with other ND fans.

I didn't realize there was actually an issue between either of the sites. I've never been to DD, whatever that is. And, I go to GH to check out the pictures....very nice I might add; you have to join the club to see them but worth every penny!

I WILL say it was NEVER intended to be taken anywhere near that...

I can personally say I have never said anything bad about the other sites... period


I respect DD and GH a ton... especially the ownerships...

I go to DD every once in a while to check in but rarely do I sign in

I didn't take it as you attacking any other site. What you and SoCal did was make me realize how dumb we get when we find a site we like. We want to believe we've got the best info, better members, and more interesting threads. But in truth we just stop ourselves from enjoying the different sites and being part of different discussions. Then you have posters who visit different sites and claim to be loyal to each one when on that site. My point about the truce was if you want to be a one site person then good for you. If you want to be a member of different sites then good for you. What is really kind of funny (Not the actual accident). But when GG passed away, I don't think there was a ND site that didn't ask for prayers for him and his family. We all know each other and it's time for the ND family to come together for the season. And when you ask the question on where these guys had gone and SoCaltold people to be real. It got me thinking abou myself and how I"ve missed out on alot of good stuff on this site. That's all.

That's alright SoCal, cause even at my age (45) I still learn crap everyday. And the more I learn the more I find out what people are for real and which ones aren't. And besides no matter what happens on the web, NO ONE who knows me will ever doubt my LOVE for Notre Dame.
