Agreed. First thing I thought but like many others thought they would get ripped. It is cool he can do that and all. Yes he is strong. But not really showing the technique needed in the drill. Ill bet you do not see him do this again. Coach wont let that happen. Actually kinda surprised he did the first time.

I held back initially too...but I couldn't hold my tongue any longer. I'm sure they knew some of the stuff would make a video so they hammed it up a bit.

Would have found you a seat on the bench for disrupting practice at PHS under Geesman.

I got your point. But my way of providing a lift for the team was such childishness as it was possible for me. You need something like that to celebrate the pads man. It is just young stud fun. No it is not grown up, nor responsible. But it sure is cool, and gives everyone something to laugh about through the toughest practices. The exercise you are seeing is a combination of incredible length and strength. You just don't see that. I am with you hoping he tatoos some opponents this fall.

Maybe Troy just got b*tched out by a coach and was blowing off some steam.

Or, maybe he was just having a little fun. Did we all forget how?

No one said there was anything wrong with it. I do think he was hamming it up a bit for the cameras. Which is all well and good (edit AND FUN). I don't think he has a problem with his footwork...he played OG in HS did he not?

No one was attacking you Bogs. Certainly not me. I am not an interwebz tuff guy.

In my humble uneducated opinion: Loved it, we need that "destroy anything that moves" mentality.... Going back to my early years when the "X-men" comics became very popular.... TROY REMINDS ME OF COLOSSUS!!!!!!!

Here's a topic that i know would have people watching....
Troy (Hercules) Niklas vs. Aaron (Beast) Lynch

Who are you taking and why?

My answer: Troy's busting his *** to become a unstoppable force, while Aaron is chilling in Fla. chasing poon......

Money on Hercules.....

In high school, my coach would stand on the sled and he wanted us to hit it so hard that he fell off. A lot easier without 250 extra pounds on the sled.

yes...I did....thanks for reminding me...:).

I was commenting on what I thought of the meaning of Eifert's gesture...Troy was clearly having fun...our AA tight end did not appear to be amused...but the coach wasn't saying anything...so I guess its cool...

I think Troy is probably more in line with what I saw of Cappy, and his dancing....hey if we can play loose...we'll catch some folks

If we can run the losing mentality out of south bend by throwing sleds, and having large men dance ...hell, I'm in.

Now that's what I am talking about. It takes a special person to be able to tap in to that child like quality. If this team can do in en masse, they will be my favorite team ever. Even though I would bet that attitude will help them win more games, they would be my favorite team no matter how many or few they won.

Yep, money on Herc. The whole Aaron thing is so sad to me. Not happy he left, but I do pray his life does not spiral like many that leave do.
