Tez is being looked at as an OLB. They'll take one more DE and be done.

Did you see his suit and tie? Wasn't wearing Fubu, a thick gold chain and a winter cap like Stafon Johnson was when he verballed to the Poodle.

Helps me sleep at night, knowing these are good citizens.

You mean he's not out breaking into teammates' (sorry, FORMER) teammates houses, stealing stuff and leaving his calling card???? Yes it is refreshing to see that we're doing it THE RIGHT WAY, with THE RIGHT KIDS.

Next up, give me an AUSTIN. MARTIN.

Intresting how strategic the timing of these announcements are coming. Could their be a method to CW's madness? I think so. What/Who is next?

It seems like a new recruit announces every few weeks, if it is planned I think it is a great idea to keep the momentum going. I don't know who is next but I am excited again about recruiting.

It can't come from a paysite. It would have to be something someone finds for free.

The kid is str8 up vicious! Look at the seperation he gets from his man and how quick his feet are. He just refuses to be blocked. The team he plays for (Don bosco prep) plays in the toughest league in new jersey so he's not just dominating against nobody's. There is a ton of D-1 talent in that league. As a defensive line coach myself my mouth is watering right now at this kids potential.

"Don't worry, you don't have to worry about me not giving my all for the team"

Quote from Trat in his presser. Gonna be a good one folks!

Yes, defense is going to be fun again. What level do you coach at?

With the exception seemingly defensive tackle, I must say that this is the most athletic defense I've seen recruited by Notre Dame in my life.

'Athletic' doesn't necessarily mean 'good', we need a few of those 'bread & butter' types, but this will be a swarming defense.

This kid is good. Have you watched the film on him? He punishes those he tackles.

He definitely has some nasty. ND is piling up some early quality verbals. Anyone know how we compare to other schools at this point?

I would put us in 3rd behind Texas and Florida overall.

Great news on what looks like a great potential defensive player on the line - where in my opinion we needed it most. I know the defensive backfield took alot of guff for making Troy Smith look like the next Donavan McNabb, but I think I may have been able to complete a few with that much time to throw.

Also - interesting observation on the current recruiting status behind Texas and Florida. I am starting a new thread on that one and would like your feedback.

I coach high school, offensive/defensive line at the varsity level. I am asst. head coach this year and hope to be head coach in 2007. I've been coaching since i was 18 years old when i blew out my knee in my second day of practice of my freshman season at rowan college in N.J. Thought if i could'nt play that was as close as i could get to it. Not sore about it, i'm actually pretty good at it.
