Slippage in a Bye Week isn't unusual but ND could actually drop from #8 to #12.

I'd expect AUB with one loss to jump us as the winner over the #2 team and the Top SEC team.
CAL, also one loss, had a good win and could jump as well.
As TEN, also one loss, beat CAL, they could ride the coattails over ND.
IF those teams jump ND, UF, also one loss, won't fall below ND.
CLEM, also one loss, could garner enough votes as the Top ACC Team to jump ND.

Not saying any of this is right. Just figuring on Conference Block voting materializing as the BCS opens and the jockeying really begins.

CW said last week he could add more yards and more points in some wins but there's no point in humiliating a team. Tommy Bowden (69-3 over Temple) and Houston Nutt (63-7 over Southest Missouri State) don't seem to share the philosophy, they realize the voters do take note of margin of victory even if the computers don't. Nutt will lament, "Hey I had to cover the spread we were a 50 point favorite."

From Sagarin:

210 SE Missouri State AA = 38.00 3 2

That line translates to 210 ranked team out of 241 teams. SE Missouri St is a Div 1AA team (a bad 1AA team). Actually Arkansas should be dropped out of the poll for scheduling such a travesty. Instead they rise in the polls citing an impressive win.

Can't believe Iowa lost to Indiana. Each week watching the SEC teams knock each other off is crazy. Always good when Urban Meyeys lose.

I still say ND would rank 12 in my vote.

Auburn made the most of several opportunities. All of the sudden they look like vanilla ice cream again instead of horse dung.

Love the polls. Let's see if Florida is higher than Auburn, who they lost to, but lower than Tennessee who they defeated.

This is going to start making zero sense really fast.

scUM is my #2 ahead of SC. How about the Big Ten having the two best teams in America?
