If Te'o had gone to USC, he'd be on a NC-contending team this year. Instead, he came to ND and has been the bright spot on a consistently mediocre team. That's not going to change this year if Rees is QB. And I feel bad for him. The point is, Te'o will anchor a good defense that is BCS-worthy when paired with a competent offense, which will not be the case if Rees starts, which he will.

And like BGIF said, this is just for us whiners to vent. I can't control what Kelly does, and I've been having a $hitty week, and now we hear Goodman saying Rees has been outperforming the others. So yeah, I needed to vent. He's not a good QB and with him starting, I have no hope for more than 7 wins.

Something tells me Goodman's opinion on the matter isn't the be-all, end-all. Should probably wait for somebody like, THE COACH, to comment on the matter before you go over the edge.

If Tommy earns the job he earns the job. I think no matter who the QB is this year may be a bit of a rough with our secondary woes and the loss of Floyd but ya never know. Im not drinking the Kelly Kool-Aid but Im confident that he will choose the right man for the job and if that person is tommy then he's the best qb we got. Scary thought for some but Id love nothing more than a tommy rees led ND team in the BCS

If Tommy does get the job, it will be almost impossible for to mess up as much as he did last year. Hopefully we stick with the run inside the redzone and at least get some points out of it.

I'm not even going to waste my time merging these same old tired posts on one of the other 20 QB threads. Nothing here has been written that every single poster hasn't already said on all those other threads. If it's new and different news, I get starting a new thread. But jonesman, what have you said here that you haven't said 100 times since last year??? Why not just put it in one of those threads?

There's already a QB thread on the front page anyway...
