Honestly I could see the BCS putting Boise State/Alabama and ND in a bowl against each other. Either way the match-up is huge you end up with a new football powerhouse vs. an established football powerhouse or you get two of the most storied programs ever slugging it out. The money the BCS would make is insane and in the end that is all they really care about.

The BCS doesn't pick teams for bowls. #1 and #2 play in the Championship Game. The rest go by conference tie-ins and then the bowls selecting in turn to fill out the card.

I thought earlier in another post, USC wasn't considered into the "elite" category. You are most certainly my anti-matter phork. I could no longer see eye-to-eye with you than look straight down Lombard Street. I know it's odd seeing "straight" and a descriptive San Fran landmark synonymously placed within context...

Thats my point USC is obviously not an elite defense as everyone said they were.

Amazing place really. Did you go to see Coit Tower and cruise the embarderco? <--- (Not sure I spelt that right and I'm too lazy to google it...) I lived at McClellan Air Force base one time for two months. Citrus Heights sucked but we used to go to out to Lake Folsom, near Johnny Cash's old hooch to check out the rug. I would suggest it if it weren't so cold.

One more thing:

There's a little bar near just due north east of the main gate to McClellan on the north east side of the street. Place is called "Chris's." Its a little biker bar in the eves for "Clampers." ECV - something like E Clampus Vitus. Anyways, the bikers are like soldiers from 'Nam and they help displaced widows and other stuff relative. If you're around, you should go get a drink there. They got these mini pitchers of beer you hold like a glass. 3 and you're good to go.

I watch ND games from a biker's dive on the East Bay. Great people. I'm turning them into Domer fans. I will definitley check it out. Thanks bud.
