The color is very far from UCLA blue. Perhaps online it looks like that, but in person it is a much darker color. Unless you have seen it in person you really can't complain, as it looks nothing like the pictures of it online! And, I think they were wary to do the dark blue b/c of how it looked in the stadium in 08. If you look at pictures of the student section from that year it looks black. It will look fantastic in the stadium/student section this year.

Not sure what year this is from, but kinda gets the idea across. Darker colors just don't work nearly as well.
