Anyone know where I can find video clips or pcs of the November 8, 1975 game with Georgia Tech where Rudy played?

He should be on the sideline for this years opener!

eh, I don't know about that. I love the story, but I think it would be a lot better if Rudy just allowed himself to 'fade away' into history. Instead, it seems as though he's interested in marketing himself. Idk, he's probably a great guy, but I can't help but feel that he has become a bit phony.

As for the video itself, I think it'll be next to impossible to find one. In my 17 years of being an ND fan, you'd think that if one existed I'd have come across it somewhere. That has to apply to every ND fan. It's too big a story.

If the event had taken place in 2005, you'd be able to find it. Unfortunately 1975 was long before anyone had camcorders. So it's pretty much NBC or nothing---I'm guessing (but I doubt it) NBC covered the games back then?

I agree whole heartedly, I love the whole Rudy story but the movie is enough exposure anything too much more would seem overkill. It is has to keep an element of Historic Lore.

As far as the actual game is concerned there is pictures and some of extremely raw footage but is hard to access I imagine.

One does exist somewhere. I went and saw him speak probably about 10 years ago and he had the clip. but I don't know where he got it from.

and I kinda agree with the overkill. i mean, i love the movie, and watch it with a grain of salt all the time, but...

"a bit phony"

And non nonsense Charlie Weis, who was a student when Rudy played, had him address the team. What was he thinking?
