What more can you expect them to do? CSTV made the deal with the conference. You gotta know this "free preview" weekend is a result of tons of calls from ND fans to CSTV bitching. They didn't just come up with this out of nowhere.

There's no reason now to not be able to find this in a bar that shows NFL and College games. Go looking for one with a small dish, they'll have it. There's no real reason for anyone to miss this game now. Most sports bars these days have DirecTV because that's the only outlet for NFL Sunday Ticket. Anyone that advertises ST should be able to dial in CSTV for you. Doesn't cost them a thing and you don't have to sweet-talk them into subscribing just for you.

I am both lucky and lazy and not afraid to admit it.

CSTV is having a free preview weekend because they know this is the most viewers they will ever have simply because of the ND game. Major free PR for them.

I'm glad we're getting it. The Game watches in Orlando are ok and everyone is really cool, but the tv is a really old large screen with a terrible picture. The atmosphere is great.

This channel is a joke. Just a joke. I actually got the free preview, and I must say that it's not going to leave people with a good impression of the channel. So far they've been playing, for like 12 straight hours, the same Ivy League hockey game. That's amazing to me. Also, any channel on which Tom Lemming gets a show is pretty much garbage.

DAMMIT I AM PISSED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are NOT broadcasting it in my area.
I cannot get it PPV.
I cannot upgrade my existing service to include CSTV (because its grandfathered in from 8 years ago when it was AT&T)

Now I am going to have to watch it downtown at the local sports bar. Which seems all well and good...until you saw the look my wife gave me.

Well, I disagree.....they're the only channel that shows ND hockey and for me, that's worth the $5/month or so it costs.

Some people are never fucking happy....all the bitching leading up to this weekend about not being able to see this game, CSTV caves in and offers the weekend free to shut up whiny ND fans and you still complain. How much are you paying for this again?

Just do a crap load of the Honey Do List before and after the game and bring home flowers. Tell her thanks and then sleep on the couch for the next few nights, and you will be fine. Oh hell invite the mother-n-law to stay during the holidays as well. It is worth it to see the game right.

Anyway good luck with that.

Hell, if it's that big of a deal, take her out to a nice dinner! Luckily my wife loves ND football as much as I do, so she'll be going to the gamewatch with kids in tow. We could have watched at home on DirecTV but I dig watching with a group of people. Share the excitement and sooth the agony en masse :)

yea thats cool but im ussualy the only nd fan people look at you like you have one eye hanging out of your head. its all fsu florida miami kills me and i was rideing down my street and seen a damn uSC flag flying on someones house ah made me sick .

I understand, living in Austin it is all UT and if you do not go for them you are a freak and an outcast. Last year I was wearing my ND hat while watching the NC game at a bar .. of course i was cheering for UT because I hate USC and all the darn hype ESPN put on them. I caught a lot of crap for it but not in a harsh way, because they all knew I wanted USC to lose.
