oh i can take a joke. i just cant stand stupidity. maybe take a note

Alright guys, enough. Take it easy. tko used to scream at the screen passes that never worked in 2007 and 2008. It was an inside joke to the oldtimers. No harm done. Let it go, or take it to PM. Thanks...

Gonna have to take one of them out for rudolph. He's the 2nd best pass catcher on this team

Touche.

Rudolph seriously bombed the second half of this season. I'm pretty sure he had like 50 yards total in the last half of the year. Kelly really needs to utilize his great talent.

Rudolph didn't bomb. he played selfless football and accepted the fact that he was called on to stay in and block, to keep Clausen from getting killed, in the second half of the season. There's no doubt in my mind that Charlie knew he was taking a weapon out of the mix, but with Clausen's foot, and the lack of line protection, Weis probably figured that he had to keep the TE in, or lose his QB. I'm sure that Charlie probably figured that he would make it up to Rudolph, by calling his number more often next season. Hopefully, Kelly will see the same thing on tape, and make an effort to get Kyle the ball more often.

The reason why Rudolph "bombed" was because Paul Duncan was the worst OT in history and he needed to help block for the scrub. He was also hurt. He didn't bomb. That's a ridiculous notion.

Rudolph seriously bombed the second half of this season. ...

WRONG WRONG WRONG.

And drop the weasely he was injured crap.

He was kept in during the second half because Duncan and the rest of the OLine couldnt handle a 4 man rush!

Maybe if you watched the games instead of typing "The Season's Over" repeatedly during the games you would have seen that.

Being injured and PLAYING injured does't qualify as "seriously bombed" either.

Run up the flag! You seriously bombed with this post and your insulting Rudolph, Floyd, Allen, Clausen, Aldridge, Kamara, Robinson, and the others that played through pain for ND.

You get negative reps for a BS post.

Rivals.com College Football - Cincinnati's Pike shines in Kelly's fast-paced offense

Hey y'all, I think this is the best take on Kelly's offense so far, especially as it was written before the whole Kelly to ND storm took over and every reporter got a months worth of fluff.

A few thoughts on it:

Need a big go-to receiver: Check, enough said.

Our defense is going to need to get in shape this off season.

If I'm a coach trying to prepare for this o I'm doing a few things:

1)Telling my d-ends to forget about the run, I want them getting in the backfield as soon as possible.

2)Rotating at least 3 d-tackles by possession. Even if it means my top guy isn't in the game every series, you can't expect the big boys to go hard 100 plays a game.

3) Base package is the nickle.

4) CBs are playing tight and safeties are in a medium or deep zone almost every play.

5) LBs I change up depending on specifics: can the QB run, what type of back do they have in, etc...
