Thought I should finally post a photo. This immediately follows his first bath (yes, it took nearly three weeks to get around to it). He was PISSED.

On a related note, a former ND prof sent us a great little Irish outfit that he should be ready to wear right around when football season starts. Perfect for Saturday morning gameday trips to the butcher's for hotdogs and beer.

And on another related note: I'd love to buy celebratory (virtual) cigars for everyone who sent such lovely gifts my way. Any chance they could be added to the "Give Gifts" menu?

Very cute! I don't think so about the (virtual) cigars. I think the only people that could add it are the people that run the vBulletin formatting wich is the template/style that is used for this site.

You need to convince your wife to induce labor at the begging or in the middle of the week, so you can get a few days off, and you won't have to worry about missing a game.

I've already tried that one. Didn't fly too well. I've thought about getting a tv in the delivery room.

Congratulations to you as well. Being a parent is great, though I admit we were totally unprepared for it. Labor and delivery, no matter how difficult (and ours was REALLY difficult), can also be a genuinely awesome experience -- feel free to PM me if you want advice at any point.
