Summer Practice

Does anyone know when we are "officially" allowed to start practicing? I seem to remember the rule mentioning something about "40 units" before the first game is when they can start. So that puts us at the beginning of August somewhere... Does anyone have a better undestanding they could share?

I believe the 19th. At least that is when I've heard the freshmen are showing up.

- Sean Cwynar is running in sand, only one still with slight restrictions
-Manti "looks great", full go for summer practices
- BK "optimistic" on Floyd
- Ishaq went to senior prom with BK's blessing

A friend of mine is a student manager for the football team and they have to get to campus on August 1st, so I'm guessing that's about when summer practice starts. I could be wrong, and maybe she is just working the second half of summer practice or something, but I am pretty sure they start then.

Usually Summer Practices start the 1st week of August. I am pretty sure.

Practice should start within the first week and a half of August, as usual. Up until then, it's summer classes and conditioning.

Training camp starts August 6.

So that leaves from June 19th to August 6th for conditioning. Ouch. Gonna be a long summer for the players but it'll pay off on the season hopefully.
