That is a tough balance though. I think BK has been clear that the best player is going to play. I think he needs to stick to that so that he does not lose credibility within the program.

The sad part is our Defensive backs, Filer,Fox are terrible. It thats the best we have at those positions then next year is even going to be worse.

now we gave up one touchdown so we should be up ND 24 USC 17 at this time.. o-well it's not! we need to score and tie the game now...

Now if we look big picture it should have been ND 24/ USC 17 in 4th qrt.. We. run the ball score a TD or FG and we win the game... IT'S THAT SIMPLE.....

GO IRISH fix these little problems and were going to be great...

I feel better knowing WE beat ourselves again i just can't wait to see the future IRISH yrs..

Once again this is where the run game should have been used instead of the screen pass. It was friggin 2 and 4 with alot of time onthe clock perfect time to run the ball to late now though. But like others said we CAN'T give up on the running game.

USC continuously stuffed our rushing attack throughout the first half. That's on the OL and Wood, not on Kelly.

We never had an opportunity to try a more balanced attack in the second half because we were behind the entire time. You can't run the ball when you're playing catch up.

I obviously have to question the play call AGAIN on the swing pass. Either Kelly doesn't know how to teach it to his players and/or the players don't know how to execute it. Whatever the case, eliminate the play!!!
