my knowledge on recruiting is very limited and mostly due to not having the time to keep up with it, but friends of mine that do, say that notre dame's rankings in the recruiting process tend to be skewed cuz players (when recruited by ND) will get a higher ranking just for simply being recruited by ND. not sure how much of that is true, but i don't know if i would put much stock in this ranking.

it's nice and cool maybe, but we need to see that translate to the field. hopefully coach kelly gets us going in the right direction.

ND may get a bump, but it's certainly not exclusive to us. There's a ton of criticism on Rivals for their southern bias. A guy getting an offer from Florida immediately jumps up 5 spots at his respective position without any new footage or camp appearances. Players from Texas and Florida are consistently ranked higher than California and Ohio prospects when on-the-field results don't align to that. Regardless, rankings are always going to be skewed one way or another. If anything, those rankings are just good PR for us.

I think it's your Windows settings. Go to Start --> Options --> Internet Explorer.

Then set "Thomas Eakins paintings" to "disable". After that, you'll be good to go!
