That's what I thought. Thanks Matt. I knew I wasn't going crazy!!! ;)

Someone brought it up on Power Hour tonight and they said that ND hadn't released that info yet, but they expected them to at the upcomming presser this Friday, or next week. I guess they were mistaken.

Tickets will be availabe at the gate, correct? Also, they don't put a limit on the number of tickets they'll have available will they (in other words they would allow 'full house' if that many would show up)?

They do sell them there, but they usually have sections of the stadium closed off.

I really enjoyed this game the last couple of years! It is the only game I can get tickets for lately...go with my 2 younger brothers and 13 year old son. Good times!!!! I still have not gotten a chance to take him to a real game yet...last time I went to a regular season game was around 1999-2000.

Also, if you know someone around the South Bend area, they sell discounted tickets at local Meijer stores. I think they're 3-4$ cheaper than what you'll find at the gate.

What he said. I want to say they were ~$8-10 at meijer stores.

Gipper, what you're saying is that the Meijer stores sell out earlly, correct? Surely they don't/won't sell out at the gates though!? My family and I are seriously considering driving up to the game and I wouldn't want to drive 5-6 hours and not be able to even attend the game. Of course I would rather be able to purchase less expensive tickets, but my main concern is whether there would be tickets available an hour or so before game time. My son has never been on campus, so this trip would be two-fold ... attend an ND game and allow him an opportunity to enjoy the experience of being on a fantastic campus.

Last year we flew in from MA on Friday and purchased our tickets at Meijer's the night before for $9.00 each (I believe they were $12.00 at the gate on Saturday). We passed on tail-gating (which we were informed was a more attractive option for the "younger crowd"). Since it's first-come, first-served; we were able to sit on the sunny-side of the field, literally straddling the 50! We enjoyed the in-stadium atmosphere and the pre-game experience, including the Alumni Flag-Football Game that takes place before the Blue & Gold game.

The last few years a couple of the three Meijer stores that sell them have sold out.

I was in line last year to get them there was about 50 in the line, I got the last 2. I know I could walk up to the stadium and get tickets but it sure felt good to get the last ones.
