Ok. So i got bored today and I decided to watch "Employee of the Month" on my ipod. I realized/remebered a couple things.

1.) Jessica Simpson used to be ridiculously hot.

2.) Dane Cook is just a very mediocre entertainer all around. Both in stand up and acting. Sure he's had his moments, but he's just alright.

I figured i'd name it the movie thread just cause not to many people would wanna keep a thread going about this movie. Lol.

Edit: Forgot to mention she was a bad actress to.

Bored? Try being almost homebound for about a year...

Since you want to bring up insignificant movies, I caught parts of The Time Traveler's wife, until I finally decided to try and watch the movie in its entirety. Cable here tends to show the same movies over and over. The movie is cutesy, but rather bittersweet.

I simply could not take my eye (the good one) off of Rachel McAdams. I think I love her.

Still think she was second best in Wedding Crashers... something about that red head...

Saw the movie Wedding Crashers, but don't remember a dang thing about it. Saw clips of McAdams yesterday on Youtube (of all things...what has my life become lol) in the movie "Red Eye." Also saw her in "State of Play" with Russell Crowe. For some reason, I never put two and two together and realized it was the same lady. So I fell in love with the same lady 3 times. When I first saw her in Time Traveler, I thought she was Michelle Monaghan from Mission Impossible III

Also a must see for all you tongue in cheek action shoot-em-up lovers is the movie "Shoot Em Up." Absolutely hilarious and fun. Clive Owen and Monica Bellucci.

Monica Bellucci. MMMMMM

SOOO....

Did anyone see HUMAN CENTIPEDE yet?

Extremely disturbing.

I saw it. As I was walking out of the theater with my friend, I think her analysis of the movie was, "wow that was more f'd up than the devil and hitler 69ing on top of anne frank's grave".
so yeah, it was pretty disturbing

Anybody see Dolemite? Greatest blaxploitation movie ever.

I loved the movies in that genre...and I am early 40's and about as caucasian as you can get. If you ever can find the MADtv spoofs of these movies online, look them up as they were sooooo dead on

My 2 cents...grew up on 80's action movies so any 80's flicks with Arnie, Stallone, JCVD, Norris and even the cheaper ones with Lundgren, Olivier Gunner, the guy who did the other 3 kickboxer movies, The Perfect Weapon....and let's not forget ACTION JACKSON...Carl Weathers driving his sports car...a Pontiac Fiero GT!!!! These are not contributions to art by any means, cheesy and guilty pleasure vices only

I knew a guy in high school who thought he was bad a$$ because he drove a Fiero. It made me LOL.

IrishInFL - I would totally go see GI Hamster movies...but it better be at least PG13 (prefer R version)...gotta be better than G Force by a mile right? And the final shot would be a stop motion shot of a high five to the hamster...then roll the credits with all the hamster stunt outtakes ala Jackie Chan flix

I have it on VHS and DVD. When I see it on Blu-ray, I'll be purchasing it yet again. I watch that movie once every three months. I also have Boondock Saints - All Saints Day on DVD............just as good as the first one.

I have both on Blu-Ray. Second one was good, but the first one was awesome.

Which one? Eastern Promises or A History of Violence?

A History of Violence, whenever i try to explain that movie to people i say its sex and killing. Because for real that's all i can remember from that movie. I did like it though, although i seen it in the theatre without ever knowing what it was about

You should watch Eastern Promises, Cronenberg directed it as well and Viggo got a best acting nod for it (lost to the Daniel Day Lewis for There will be Blood). Its about the russian mafia, crazy ****.

is it based on actual events? Or I don't know what it's called but where everything is how things really are but the movie isn't actually true. If that makes sense.

But i have heard of that movie but never seen it or really looked into it, but it sounds like it should be pretty cool, after hearing about it.

I might have to find a copy some where

Not based on a true story but its apparently pretty accurate yes. Also Naomi Watts' fine (and talented) self is in it
