last I heard was 12 inches, of snow that is you sick people

Can you ship about 6 inches my way? If we got 6 inches of snow here in Chattanooga, the city would shut down for three weeks. We had a snow storm in 1993, had about 6 inches of snow, and the entire southeast TN was was shut down.

Sure. Put lights on palm trees, dress up in your best Reyn Spooner hawaiian shirt, put the convertible top down, sport a laser enhanced white smile and cruise the coast.

Looking for a drunken Brit. Spears and her buds passed out on the beach.

Spinner, don't you kinds feel sorry for the people who have never played football in the snow, went snow skiing, sledding, tubeing. You know all the great stuff we as kids could think of to do when you had a snow day from school . When I think about it I can still here my parents yelling for us to come in side before we got sick from being cold and wet. When all along I thought that's what the idea was. Have fun all day, catch a cold so mom would keep yopu home another day.

Better get to Kroger and buy some bread and milk. There will be 15 collisions before the first flake hits the highway. The threat of snow is enough to send people down here into a frenzy. I'd hate to see what happened if there as actually some decent accumulation....

we had about 7 inches during the BLIZZARD of 93 here in Atlanta. I was out of school for three days. There are no snowplows and very little salt. It was great.

In Indiana, I don't remember ever getting a snow day unless it was an ice storm and the power was out.

Me neither SI. In NY, we would have 2 feet and still go to school.
Seems kind of ridiculous some of the things they close school for down here. Maybe that has something to do with why the graduation rates and annual education ratings are so poor.

I think in Atlanta at least its just not cost worthy to have piles and piles of salt and snow plows when they are only used once or twice a decade. Without those, it is pretty bad on the roads around here if it snows.

It is funny though seeing the groceries when the forecast flurries

No here in Chattanooga the graduation rate is poor because of the start time of the schools.

It better not be snowing in Cincy or anywhere along the Ohio/Indiana border Dec. 22. That is when we make the journey north for Christmas.

Driving up 75 through the Tenn. mountains and then that stretch south of Cincy where it turns into 15 lanes is no fun in snow.

About 11 miles into Tennessee there is road construction that basicly has I-75 down to one lane...good luck.

You gotta enough gas for the snowmobile spinner ? Me I'll throw the truck into 4 wheel drive and have some fun. Then gotta get to dads clean his driveway, then to moms to clean hers. Then I get to have fun, go to workplace get in frontend loader and just start plowing whatever I want until the beer runs out.
