At the time I was unaware of weather or not Jon had previously visited ND in the past, but I knew he hadn't this season. That was my reasoning for his elimination in my process of elimination where I was trying to figure out who the silent verbal might be. Because to me I can't see some one choosing a school if they've never made a visit there. But recently a someone I know suggested that he thought Jon had been to ND before on an unofficial Jr. visit. While I'm still waiting for confirmation of this if it happens to be the case then I think it's very good news and he'd be the most likely canidate to be the silent verbal. That is if ND really has one, because at the rate of which things tend to travel around the recruiting world these days everyone could be wrong and we wouldn't find out untill the end of the week.

He was at last year's PSU game, and he took another unofficial to ND in May.

After some of the quotes in the most recent article to come out about him I would think that Baldwin probably is the silent if there was one, although it is a little hard to tell with him though given how close to the vest he plays everything.

*Cough* *Cough*, you were saying...

Is that kind of like the QB ND lost to Middle Tennessee State earlier this year?

One more thing, if this is true I wouldn't really expect anything to come out untill Jon's Sr. season is over. It might but I doubt it. Another one of the rumors to go along with this is that G.Robnson will probably cancel his official visit to ND that is scheduled to take place next weekend if an announcement were to come somtime between now and the Duke game.

I thought Page was silent after his visit a couple of weeks ago. The key factor that turned me off was that I expected he would cancel the rest of his officials but he never did. I have also seen stuff on Baldwin lately. The key here is he doesn't have any other officials set up. I am huge on him and have followed his recruitment closely. I really think it is him they are talking about but wouldn't call him a silent, although we are quite a bit ahead of Pitt right now.

I think when it's all said and done we land them both anyway

If Page was a silent commit, I do NOT think he would cancel his officials till he was ready to announce because if he canceled his officials shortly after a visit to ND, it would basically scream to the whole world that he's going to ND.

Page has officials lined up for 11/30 with S. Carolina and 1/11 with Clemson.

With all that said, I still don't think Page is a silent because I don't think he would make such a big effort to try to attend BOTH the S. Carolina and Clemson games this weekend.

Page said he has no favorite. He will attend the Wake Forest at Clemson game Saturday afternoon and will try to get back to Columbia in time for the Florida at USC game.

He's no 215 he's pushing 240 already thats why a lot of people view him as a TE, I see him as a super powerful WR whose quite fast that can exploit teams.

Julio Jones will probably go to Bama. It is looking more and more like it. His high school teammate Lester has already commiteed to the Tide and they were making visits together.

I still think he is coming to ND. I did not say he was going to ND I just think it would be nice to get him.

I don't think anyone thinks Page is the silent anymore. Just a little FYI, if I were you I wouldn't listen to anything that Palmetto Sports says if they are talking about a recruit that is being recruited by ND and the in state schools. I don't care what they say, just about everyone else including one of Kenny's coaches think ND is leading for him.

If you'll remember they would never admit that ND had a real shot at Gary Gray untill he announced to ND. No matter what everthing else said they spun it as though ND was just there for looks with no chance of getting him and he was going to go back to S.Carolina the entire time.

It would be awesome to get him. I think it ends up an Alabama/Auburn battle, with Tuberville's situation I say he will be with the Tide

That would be kind of hard since he never had an official offer. He recieved a verbal offer, but neither his grades or test scores would allow him to get into ND, so he never got an official written offer. Not that it would have mattered anyway. I don't think he was ever going to come to ND. It looks like it'll either be Bama or Free Shoes U. for him.

It was a joke. I have heard he is pretty much an Alabama lock. I just like to keep people on their toes.
