I've got mad respect for Pat Haden. He's really doing a job trying to corral the wayward athletic programs at U$C. ESPN just reported that he's suspended men's basketball coach Kevin O'Neill for getting into a verbal spat with some fans @ the PAC-10 Tournament.

Sherrif Haden is wearin' the badge and he ain't takin' no guff.

Don't care what the reason is, as long as he's doing it. The NCAA needs to get real and use a hammer on all the heads of the nails sticking out of the board. No exceptions. They keep saying lack of institutional control, well they're guilty of not controlling the institutions!

Couldn't agree more...the NCAA has let these guys run wild and free.
Hopefully the new President tries to clean some of this up.

Yes, but the members on whatever governing panel have been asleep at the wheel or guilty of collusion. Recent actions are giving we (the fans) hope of an honest playing field. Lets hope they stay the course.
