This thread is the worst(?) thing to happen to me. I found a bottle of Glennfiddich 12 for $35 and Highland Park 12 for $40 and took a chance. Loved them both and now I'm hooked an on the hunt.

My neighbor and I are sharing bottles and doing a couple different brands each month. Beyond the previous mentioned, we have Basil Hayden, Michters Bourbon and Michters American Whiskey.

Up next will be Old Forester's whiskey row series as well as McCallan 12.

Grabbed Old Forester 1910 and McCallan 12 over the weekend. I'm definitely more of a scotch person. The 1910 is good though.

Anyone ever tell you that you have delicate looking fingers?

I LOL'd.

I was at Costco this weekend. Rookie mistake 1) not going there first as the McCallan was $15 cheaper and 2) forgot to check for the Kirkland 20yr Speyside.

Just starting to try it after years of drinking bourbon. Got a bottle of Johnny Walker Red and The Famous Grouse last night for starters.

Aberlour, man.

The 12 is like drinking pears, the 16 and 18 are like drinking smoky leather, and the A'Bunadh is like drinking a little slice of heaven.
