If he is on the 15 what will be our next move? Anybody knows how close Lester is to coming back?

There you go...no huge deal. Schill has looked like he has had a tired arm ever since that almost no-hitter, in hind sight maybe that was a bad idea running him out there in the 8th and 9th since he is getting a little older, but how can you take a guy out during a no hitter? Therefore, maybe this is a good oppurtunity to put Curt in the 15 day DL to give him a little rest and bring up Lester to see how he can do. After Schill's last outing I have no doubts that Lester can give us a better start. If Lester shows that he is ready for the bigs then once Schill comes back from the DL we send Lopez down and move Julian back into the pen.


You never know...this could turn out to be one of those hidden blessings.

I don't know how you can stomach Dunn. That guy is the worst Fantasy Baseball pickup EVER!!! 50 homers, .260 avg 100 rbi and like 700 strikeouts. Nobody in any of my leagues picked him up. The new age Rob Deer. I always kinda liked the Reds, it seems like they get to the brink and then the pitching goes south...

Schill is on the 15 due to shoulder tendernitis nothing major. He'll miss 2-3 starts. Beckett will take his place in the rotation. They are talking about bringing Lester up

Its a good oppurtunity to bring him up and give him a shot to see how he has developed and if he can handle it. The good thing is that its a low pressure situation, we know that Schill is coming back in a couple starts and its not like we need to bring someone up to fill a position for any lenght of time.

Bring Lester up, reward him for his hard work and develop a good young pitcher who we all hope to be a force in our rotation in the years to come.
