Yes, and a few other things. Not that I am a fan of MIC, but one output were jobs. Also during that time, our infrastructure grew/improved, etc.. The Western Allies line up easier against something like Russia, compared to something like terrorism. An enemy that's easier to see... Again, not that I'm a fan of any of it, just history. The world is a F'd up place, and we don't seem to be going anywhere right now except around in circles. Sometimes a villain needs to emerge to rally folks in the right direction. I wish things were different.

Okay. Not quite sure how a minor misconstruction equates to shame. Speaks more to you than me, but I could speak volumes about the lack of moral character Russian people seem to embody (in my life experiences).

It's really hard to tell how much is indoctrination, the hyksos effect or just lies told in the best interests of keeping ones family out of harms way.

I don't want to stereotype a whole group of people, but I do think it's fair to talk about the factors effecting a populous and its effects and speaking honestly about interactions with said populous.
