I've read a lot of posts here where people have the tradition of watching the movie Rudy before ND football games. It would be fitting to do so this week for sure. I found this clip of the Rudy play on youtube. Go Irish.

You're probably right on that point. The only lord of the rings I've seen is the parody done by Jack Black. If you haven't seen it, it's hillarious......even if, like me, you've never seen the movie. It's not quite appropriate to post here, though! Now. I have to go rent it so I can do well in the tourney! When does it start?

That IS good. Way better than the typical "Rudy sucked!" shirts you usually see.

Of course, Rudy DID suck. But that was the point, really.

I remember those too, but I thought those were in response to other shirts from other schools that just said "Rudy sucked" with nothing else.

It was Purdue.....the shirt that ND fans wore had "Rudy might have sucked..." on the front and "...but he would have started at Purdue" on the back.
