readily available birth control
What world do you live in? Honestly. In what corner of these United States can you NOT get condoms for (worst case scenario) 50 cents apiece? If you can't afford a 50 cent condom, then you shouldn't be taking even a 0.001% chance of creating another human being.

Everything with you is about "the system." Kids drop out because "the system" doesn't provide them with after school programs, not because the parent is a drug abuser and the kid chooses to quit school. People have children out of wedlock because the "system" doesn't provide them with enough free condoms, not because individuals choose to engage in unprotected sex.

If I read your posts to be the ramblings of an illiterate child................ that doesn't mean that you are, in fact, an illiterate child. It could be that I am just seeing things through biased eyes. And it could mean that you are perceiving racism where there isn't any, because you want to see racism.
What I find offensive is different than others. That is true.

And it's worse when education overall is worse. Things aren't equal.

Stop acting like inner city kids only have access to, at best, a 3rd grade education. There are examples all over the place of young black men rising above the poverty and apathy that they were born into, and becoming incredibly successful individuals.

Stop locking up addicts who need help, diminishing the impact of dealers in the neighborhood, keeping people safer with better regulated drugs, ending cartel violence.

It's a known fact that many addicts commit crimes to fund their habits. Don't think leaving them to roam the streets is going to help. Better regulated drugs? Are you suggesting the government supply drugs to users? The cartel violence doesn't come from the police.

Why are they drug abusers and why do they drop out? Why is there this helplessness and how can it be fixed? I'm about the big picture aND not blaming individuals. It is the system.

Your posts are embarrassing. Are you saying sex ed is worse in inner city schools? And condoms are only sold to white people? Or handed out at clinics to whites only?

What world do you live in? Seriously, dude.

It's about getting people to stop using drugs.

Eh, I'm actual with NoJustice on this one, albeit for different reasons. If a grown adult wants to poison themselves with heroin or whatever the hell else, I don't see any compelling reason why society should stop them.

So you're not about individuals being held responsible for their actions? That explains a lot

So how do you fix "the system", other than legalizing and condoning the illegal and immoral behaviors that are prevalent in poor inner city neighborhoods?

I can't figure out if he's brainwashed by lies or if he knows he's spreading the lies. Does he REALLY think you can't find a condom at the corner of MLK and 69th in Chicago?

Grow up. You sound like a starry eyed, 19 year old college kid in a sociology class crying about "the system."

It doesn't matter if people aren't told that's an option and know how real and bad the risks are. It comes back to learned helplessness. It's why education is vital. Not just 8 hours a day but all possible.

I've seen enough. The cops lied about this at multiple points. I've seen enough young men gunned down by cops to see what happened.

Every case is different. There is nothing in this case directly tied to any others. The cops aren't the only ones to lie. There are several different stories by several different people. And forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'd bet you haven't 'seen' any young men gunned down by cops. You get your fact thru the media and chose what to believe. You close your mind off to only what you want to believe. Then you argue your opinion as facts to other guys on a message board who don't agree. Then accuse them of being racist.

Well some dude's like it raw. Hence why better sex-ed and less welfare for increased amounts of children should occur, but that's a different argument.

So we're still working with the premise that sex ed in inner city schools is inferior to sex ed in suburban/ rural schools? And that's the problem? Stunning.

I don't believe it. I do not believe that there is a single able-minded teenager in this country that doesn't know that sex is where babies come from. There's no way. If you have ANY ONE OF; a radio, billboards, television, a single friend, a sibling, a borderline functioning parent, or education through even 7th grade, you know where babies come from.

I agree, but you didn't address my comments or question.

I'm suggesting that destigmatizing drugs is the first step. When people aren't afraid of the law for drugs they can trust the government to not lock them up. The government should be in the business of making sure the stuff on the street is safe and not crap.
