Rhema looks good. Nimble but in the drills but he doesn't seem to fly around that box drill the way the other receivers do. Perhaps it's me but I thought he takes the corners a tad more delicately than the other guys. Probably expected at this point.

Rhema McKnight interview (N.B. This is paraphrased not quotes.)

Q.First time ND returns two receivers with 100 catches each. Two different styles of play.
A. Yeah, Jeff is 6-5 and he can go up for the ball. Me you usually see going over the middle to make something happen.

Q. What do you like about the younger guys
A. I like the improvement. Every day he younger guys are stepping up. David Grimes is stepping up a whole lot and impressing thbe coaches. Robby Parris, Richard Jackson, Barry Gallup are all putting themselves in a position to play.

Q. So many records set. What do you do for an encore.
A. Records are nice but I just want to win. Be a contributor to the team. If we set records while winning great.

Q. How about the timing between you and Brady
A. It's not all there yet. That's why there's camp. We'll be there by GT.

Q. How much different is this year from last.
A. It's more relaxed with the players knowing the playbooks. The coaches aren't in our faces as much. The coaches know we know what we're doing and we perform.

Q. There's a different playbook for each game. It looks like a lot of material but coach Weis teaches in a way that's easily installable.

A. Coach Weis is a great teacher. The results show.

Q. Last year didn't start with great expectations. This year highly rated. There's a target on your backs.
A. We are highly rated. Team's are looking out for us. But that's the deal at ND. Whatever the record Everybody looks forward to playing ND.

Q. Coach makes it a 13 one game season. Does that help.
A. It's a 14 game season. Camps is the longest game ever. It's a grind. Then we worry about GT.

Q. This looks like a close team
A. It's a tight knit group. We kid on offense and defense. We even kid with the kickers.
