Good article that brings up a very good point. This loss certainly hurts but there was a difference after the game. Players were not blaming coaches and players kept their heads up even after an embarassing loss. Coaches took the blame for not preparing the troops and players took the blame for not executng. Good to see the difference in staffs off the field but I await the results on the field.

That makes two times this season the coaches didn't have team prepared. They were no classes so no time limits in practice. What the he'll is going on. I will echo thoughts on hoping for the best, but the game today was sickening to watch, and I am an instructor in the Navy. I have to listen to all my academy students now. Going to be a crappy week. Sorry for the rant.

Who cares. Navy 35 ND 17. Thats all that really matters. Oh that and Navy has won 3 out of the last 4.

They still lost, that accountability was nice and positive after the first game they were outcoached/unprepared, but they did it again. After every demoralizing loss we are going to get a apology? They don't give trophies for that.

yep crappy week indeed, but hopefully better days are ahead, chances for some big wins in this home stretch that can really take the sting out of these losses.

its just so frustrating sometimes when you can look good one week, basically have msu(a legit NC contender now) beat, and think wow this team is really close! then this happens and you're sent whirling back to earth. i long for the day where we are dominant once again. I can take hard fought losses but today was just sooooo deflating and i'm on vaca darnit!

Dominant? I don't see that happening. I'd love to believe it, but for whatever reason (I think it goes further then the players/coaches) ND just doesn't have the environment for winning football games anymore.

It will happen, today was not the way we have been playing lateley - something was obviously wrong today - we are a better team than that - I know full well that was a frustrating game to watch, but I'm sure its hard for the players too....

This game was over as soon as Navy marched 99 yards and scored. This team looked like a elephant in the ocean.
