If nothing else, I'm pretty sure that today will help boost the Irish's team GPA. This trio all seem like sharp kids with good heads - we'll learn about their on the field skills over the next years.
Good luck to them all - now let's get some more.

Any word on Ioane, the safety from HI? Thought he would have been on board by now.

Hearing he is going to be the next one to commit. I predict by sometime tonight that he and Spond will also be on board. James probably going to wait until Wednesday. Jones, Ferguson, Cooper, Henderson those guys probably not until NSD either.

The only thing I've seen is a Tharinger (FWIW) one liner that Ioane should be the next to pop for Notre Dame. You or I could have written that. Speculation not substance.

Other Possibilitites (More Speculation)

He (and his family) may be meeting with faculty/Admissions that's typical on Offical Visits. There were a bunch of recruits on campus and not everyone gets processed through the same day.

He could have committed to Kelly on campus but waiting to announce until he's given other coaches a courtesy call before announcing.

He could also be waiting on fellow Hawaiian Schweneke's visit to UW as Ioane supposedly had a good visit to UW and there are other Hawaiian's at UW.

I also wouldn't be surprised if he waits until NSD, in order to join his fellow Hawaiians in the signing day thing they do. Maybe he feels like he would like to make the decision official in the midst of the community that raised him?

I am hoping this kid locks up with us him and Teo on the team might help us in the future getting more players from the island here.

Hey, Irish fans. Quit worrying about ND and Brian Kelly not getting or losing 4 and
5 star prospects. Bruce Feldman of ESPN has just researched the ratings of the
Super Bowl - bound COLTS starters when they came out of high school.

Guess what? Only Payton Manning (5 stars) and DV Kelvin Hayden (4 stars) got
more than 3 stars from the "recruiting gurus" !! The other 20 starters got 3 or 2
stars !!

The obvious lesson: solid coaching and teaching by the staff plus a player's
MOTIVATION, WORK ETHIC, PERSEVERANCE, TEAM SPIRIT, INTELLIGENCE and
ATTITUDE are what produce great players in college and in the pros. Not just
natural talent and physical superiority.

Brian Kelly knows this well, He has produced and will do so for ND !!!
