So today I am in a meeting at work, and someone threw this out about ND football. I tried Google to see if its true with no success. I figured IE has right bunch of fans to ask. So is this true????….For the last 44 NFL seasons a player from Notre Dame has completed at least 1 pass in the regular season. Jerome Bettis has also helped this streak out a few times. But the streak ended this year. I thought for sure BQ threw AT LEAST 1 pass for Denver this year, but after checking he hasn’t thrown a pass in the last 2 years. Pretty cool streak if it is true.

Yes, I heard that as well. But I heard it was attempted a pass, not completed one.

It must be attempted. 2006 no Notre Dame players completed a pass but Carlyle Holiday and Arnaz Battle both had a pass attempt.

I think even Hunter Smith, the punter, kept the streak alive one year by attempting a pass on a fake punt.

Attempt makes alot more sense. I forgot about Hunter Smith. Steve Beuerlein gets a ton of credit for the streak as well.
