My Lord, Where to begin?
My Lord, Where to begin?
In classic democratic debate, one discounts
(Merriam Webster definition: Pronunciation: 'dis-"kaunt, dis-' Function: verb; to minimize the importance of (1) : to make allowance for bias or exaggeration in (2) : to view with doubt : to take into account (as a future event) in present calculations);
the opinions of others to persuade them that the content of their opinion is wrong, not their right to have an opinion is wrong !
Secondly, You seem to, yourself, discount the fairness of debate at UHND and NDNation. Is that not precisely what you accuse me of doing?
Finally, challenging conspiracy theorists regarding their version of the events of September 11th and the current state of energy prices is perfectly proper debate. Where should we look for the right conspiracy "opinion" as what brought those towers down, and all those people. Look in the facts of the rubble.
Svoboda, with all due respect, let's get back to football.

Not everything is black and white, there are many shades of gray. If you wish to do discount others, UHND or NDNation would probably be more to your liking. People here are entitled to their opinion and can believe what they want to believe. If you wish to debate, find, but do so with logic, developed thought and/or statistical evidence.
