The two losses are heartbreaking but this team is clearly playing better than last year's team. ND football is moving in the right direction, even if they should lose again this week to a very good Stanford team.

ND fans are notorious for being whiny and panic-stricken. The Rivals board has a meltdown each week. I'm taking these things in stride. We looked better each week. Look how many OLB's Kelly is recruiting. He knows that is a weakness for us, and they'll work on it throughout the season. I am reassured by the fact that we are learning how to wrap up on our tackles, and the fact that we can run the ball again. This is a process, it will take more than 3 games.

So you're saying that a coach that had been at the helm for 5 years produced similar results to a coach that has played 3 games and is still installing his scheme... I see that as a step in the right direction. It's a start gentlemen (and lady). Let's stay level-headed for a few more games at least.

What results? We're 1 and 2! By the way it's going 1 and 3. At the end of the day it's what's in the W or L column. Poor choice in offensive play calling I mean running a trick play with a freshman QB, come'on. Teams aren't outcoaching this coaching staff, it's this coaching staff outcoaching themselves.

Offensively, we still fail to establish one continuous rhythm. What do I mean by that? Well, you noticed against Michigan State that we were absolutely rolling in the first half, moving uncontested down the field. Then we fell apart. Then we got our rhythm back in the second half with three scores. Then near the middle of the fourth, we again fell apart. Crist puts up huge numbers again (350+), but only throws for a TD or two.

Which some it is due to poor choice in selecting plays!!

I hope there comes a time when we dont post anything from those guys. That will be the day when like me nobody listens to that 'entertainment channel'. You guys gotta be kidding if they say anything that gets under your skin. Man I just dont listen anymore-try it as there are other options with a sports slant not dating consulting and self absorbed dribble. espn ( notice small caps ) is not very good.
