Oh I know that it hurts but ND is worth the pain for me. I would walk around ANY campus with my ND gear on. Im fucking proud of my Irish. I would hope that all of you would of course be there with me for morale support. He He He

Thats why I hate philly-area sports. Seriously how rediculous is it that people have to be concerned about their safety when going to a sporting event, especially that of children. This is one of the biggest reasons that I have grown up to detest philly sports, even though I am 30 min from their stadiums.

I too detest Philly sports and fans, but State College is actually closer to Pittsburgh than Philadelphia, so I wouldn't call it a Philly-area school.
Living in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, I have to be in one of the biggest PsU supporting areas around. The fans are the ones who make me hate the school and team. While I've always respected the program and Paterno, the fans are the ones who make me despise them. I also hate the crap JoePop-pop pulls when he plays clown schools like FIU, saying how worried he is about the one player on the team who might actually be able to outrun my grandmother. The mushmouthed senile old coot has been full of that garbage for years.

I don't remember the exact quote, but it was back in the '80s and he said something like, Oh I remember when Notre Dame used to be Catholic, supossedly calling us out for the way we carried ourselves and the "attitude" of the program.
