I realize I seldomly post here, but I figured this may be as good of a place as any to get some objective feedback. My wife and I are considering putting our son into private school and there are a grip of them in south Orange County. So my question is do any of you have children that you put in private school at a young age and if so what were some of the reasons behind it? Secondly, what factors did you use in choosing the right school? I apologize if there is a thread on this already or if I posted this in the wrong location. Any feed back is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Went to Notre Dame academy a private high school in Green Bay and I would go back for another four years if I could. Private high school is the way to go, it's just such a better environment for students and everyone. No one is judging you by what you are wearing, very few clicks and everyone pushes everyone to be the best they can be. I went to public middle school and after going to private high school I would do it all over again and not think twice. Fuck public schools

Went to small public school then in high school went to a private Holy Cross high school and would do it all over again I would have too. Some of the best years and like Was said earlier, everyone accepted you for who you are, few clicks, great academics, I could go on and on about how great it was compared to public school. My kids will go to private school. FYI I'm saying all these things and I wasn't a popular kid in school either.

Went to a small Catholic high school after going to public school through 6th grade. It was a great decision for me, but I know I would have succeeded in public school academically as well. There were plenty of very bright kids that went to the public high school and are doing wonderful things. It's all about what is best for the student.
