I just remembered making this post...
1. I decided to watch 2 different defensive series by exclusively following Jaylon. Kid is unreal. We are extremely lucky to have him. Don't think I've ever seen a linebacker who can hit the hole on one play then cover a slot receiver coming across the middle the next like he does.
2. I knew both the fake punt and first onside kick were coming. I was yelling as loud as I possibly could but unfortunately I was in the upper deck.
3. I really felt like we dominated the entire game minus 4-5 big plays downfield for Syracuse. I said all week that we would definitely cover the spread and despite ND's best efforts to hand Syracuse 2-3 touchdowns we did.
4. The days of our team losing to a double digit underdog are over. I'm not going to worry about it anymore as I really feel like we have enough talent to avoid such losses going forward.
5. I'm 3-0 in person since going to the National Championship game. 1 home, 1 away, and 1 neutral.
