Isn't the majority of the top 10 young teams.........they all lose players tooMy postgame observations:
(without watching the game and hearing/reading information about the game)
1. Jaylon Smith
2. Will Fuller
3. CJ Prosise
4. Ronnie Stanley
5. Sheldon Day
6. Nick Martin
7. KeiVarae Russell
8. Steve Elmer
9. Elijah Shumate
10. Romeo Okwara
11. Chris Brown
12. Amir Carlisle
Bonus-- Aliz'e Jones and Max Redfield (not playing this year)
I thought this team would overcome it's youngness and be better than a 2-4 team.
These guys above are missed more than we know this year.
I hope we don't go 2-10 and getting rid of Kelly is not the answer.
Go Irish!!
Same problem since the day we hired Kelly. He's a spread it out, throw the ball all over the field, basketball on grass type of coach. ND will never be consistently elite with that type of program. Hopefully the next guy understands physical football and will throw to a fucking TE once in awhile. We have 6 completions to TEs this year. Glad we're utilizing one of the few positions we can recruit at an elite level. Mind blowing. Oh well.
I think he'd be good at Houston if Herman leaves this year. He would fit right in, in the Big XII.

Wasn't the only TD of this game albeit one that was called back a completed pass?
Hang on, Hang on. Rudolph & Eifert ain't walking through that door. The guys we got are nowhere near that high level we held for a decade. I agree we need to get more physical & yes Saturday's game plan sucked, but the TE's we have aren't the difference makers we are in need of. If the O-Line can't develop rushing lanes - TOAST!
NoNope. scUM, Clemson, Bama, Washington, TxA&M, Tennessee, Baylor, & Louisville all veteran teams.
I think the Zaire play captures everything I hate about Kelly as a coach.
I think one would get the benefit of the doubt given the conditions. MZ is not the type of guy when I think of quitter.
