Here's my guess of how the polls shake out. UGA probably won't fall the pro forma 7 slots but I think they should fall far more. They lost to UF without their 1st string QB but their best win with Shockly is over - 4 loss Tennessee. I'd jump most of the 1 loss teams over UGA. I think ND's a valid Top 10 team and should be ranked higher than many of the 1 loss teams but with a bye week several teams that won this week will get conference voter support and bump ahead. Maybe the voter will surprise me like they did last week
but think bowl committments and revenue sharing here. UF and AUB both move up. BC drops like a rock, their best win was UVA who scored 5 points last week against UNC. The Big East could end up with a BCS Champion ranked lower than PITT last year but with South Florida, Conn, Cinci, and PITT still on their schedule WVU should end up the weakest 10-1 team in the nation. I'll be rooting for USF.

Pure Speculation!

The pollsters are trying to trick me into believing their objective. Or they fear Jigga's media blitz for a playoff. Nobody jumped over ND and ND rose one slot to #9 in a bye week! UGA falls 6 slots, BC 8, and TT 1. UF moves up 3 slots, Fresno 2. UM,CU,LOU join the group.

wow, the Scarlet Knights actually made the "Others recieving votes" column. Never thought I'd live to see the day. It'd be nice to have an actual football team (on the college level) in the state of New Jersey for once.

I saw them play earlier this year and they were dramatically better than in years past. They'll have some upsets in the future. They have a solid running back, a white kid out of Jersey...can't remember his name, but he was a big recruit according to the commentators.

The RB is probably Brian Leonard the FB. He jumped over a tackler on a TD run in their opening game against Illinois. It was impressive for a TB much less a FB.

There isn't another quality win on the schedule yet.

There doesn't need to be. The computers at BCS direction are skewed to W-L. We need those above to lose games that will have significant impact.

If they win out they are in. Wisc. and PSU go head to head, loser will drop behind ND, UCLA has yet to get throttled by USC, LSU and 'Bama go head to head, VA Tech has Miami and probably FSU in the ACC title game.

There is enough cannibalism ahead of ND to ensure that if they win they are in.

Here's the thing: if SC loses to UCLA, they're still in. IF UCLA loses to SC, they may drop out of the BCS. Call it a hunch.

This system sucks. I'm not going to waste threads on it anymore.
