Georgetown? If so, it is a small world, as I grew up fifteen minutes from there and actually went to high school in Georgetown.

This situation is under control however not the outcome it should have been. 3 injured officers and 1 dead.

Officer killed today after responding to a car accident. He was a 27 year veteran. The suspect was recently released under one of the new CA laws to reduce the number of incarcerated. Latest report is the felon is also the main suspect in a murder of a family member earlier in the day and was in the car he stole after that murder. Very sad! At least a thousand people turned out to the vigil tonight.

This is pretty awesome IMO. That area isn't heavily populated so conservation officers will take some of the police calls if available. The guy attacked the CO and was getting the best of him, when the lady came out and shot the attacker.
