I had the same issue our 1st season. When it asks you to save current file select NO. Thaf will take care of the issue.

Ok guys, here is my modifications:

Offsides: 70 Now: 60
False Start: 70 Now: 60
Holding: 55 Now: 60
Facemask: 55 Now: 60
OPI: 65 Now: 65
DPI: 65 Now: 65
KR/PR Int: 60 Now: 60
Clipping: 60 Now: 40
Int. Ground: 60 Now: 65
RTP: 50 Now: 50
RTK: 60 Now: 60

I made some slight changes as you can see, most notably to "clipping" (although I don't really think it's going to make that much difference). It's been my experience the numbers are arbitrary and freak out at first when you touch them, then settle back into the world of EA where almost nothing is called. I've been using the numbers we had before on another dynasty with my friend and we rarely ever see flags, so for Andy's game the other day it's just EA's fluke magic (IMHO).

But, if you get into a game and there's like 15 clipping calls and 15 holds...8 facemasks etc. just restart and see if that helps. The penalties should be there occasionally, just not in unrealistic bunches. Use your best judgement based upon the football you have either played, watched or both. Please be honest and don't just jump out because you're losing. I think everyone here wants to play for fun and to enjoy the camaraderie. If we start seeing a prolonged amount of crazy penalties we'll just adjust again. It's really the best you can do with EA.

Edit: If you have to leave a game for an unrealistic amount of a certain penalty, then please post in here what that penalty was and I can try to adjust it down. Likewise, if something like Defensive or Offensive Pass Interference never gets called, let me know and I can push it up. Thanks!

Look at EA all trying to pin their shortcomings on me! I didn't do ****. As I mentioned to Andy in PSN messages, I have no idea why our dynasty files keep having so many issues. My buddy and I have a side one going with just the two of us and we haven't had a single thing wrong. It's been chugging along doing it's thing.

I will say this though. My buddy and I's is far more interesting as we started with the lowest schools in the game and as coordinators. For whatever reason, I am finding the "Choose-Your-Own-Adventure" (just dated myself with that one) aspect of the coaching carousel this year FAR more interesting than having the keys to the kingdom handed to you with a power program.

Since the head-to-head match ups seem to be troublesome it definitely gives you more intrigue to see what type of talent you can acquire vs. someone else, as well as where you land. So far, ours have looked like this:

Him: Old Dominion OC for 2 seasons, HC at UMass for 2.
Me: Colorado State OC for 2 seasons, OC at ULL for 2.

Hell, The University of Lousianna Lafayette was #6 of all things when they offered me the OC position and the next season we ended up in the National Championship game vs. T&M and Johnny Manziel (on these settings mind you). That was epic.

So what's the deal here? We have like four to five good, committed players but no one seems to be having much fun. The first time around was fun with the All-American teams. Is it just all the technical problems? The teams? Both? Neither? What does everyone want to do? Any thoughts?

I haven't had any issues since the restart and I enjoy playing as Florida State, so I vote we ride it out a few more weeks and see if things smooth over. I understand if Andy wants to restart though since he seems to be hit hard by the bugs in the system.

Cool, thanks for the input Lion! I appreciate it. I will also add that I have not had a single issue with our dynasty either. I think since purchasing the game I've only seen the "Commissioner has made changes" error once, and that was in the American Conference dynasty as UCF. Other than that, the only other issue was Ulookinatme and I's user vs. user game (or was it Lion)? never loaded. Those have been my two errors in however many dynasties.

Not sure if its the same thing or not but I had the same message/issue last season. When opening the game it asks whether or not to save the file, select NO. That should take care of the problem. I had the same issue and was playing games over & over. This fixed it. Hope it works for you bud.

Having remembered your difficulties last season, I did in fact already try this and those screen shots were the result. Texas - 50, Ole Miss - fuck you I'm not going to let a 43 point blow-out count.

It's not fun. It's been a constant source of aggravation and taken lots of my time with all the replays that frankly, I don't have time for right now during finals. The bullshit to fun ratio is roughly at 6:1.

I run the spread option. I love the offense, but wasn't very familiar with running it, so I sat down and practiced and practiced until I got good with it. My QB and HB now are 1,000 yard rushers apiece. My offensive book is called "Shovel and A 45" and my defensive is book is a multiple look called "Nobody Will Miss You". LOL. I use the Pistol book when playing people.
