Whereas we, the undersigned, are tremendously disappointed at how the 2012-2013 Notre Dame Football season ended, we hereby raise our voices that it be known that we:

1. Recognize that our disappointment pales in comparison to the young men on the roster who gave such great effort this season.

2. Respect all of the hard work, dedication, and devotion that above stated young men (and their coaches and support personnel) put forth, all year, for little more than our enjoyment and earning the respect of their bretheren in blue and gold.

3. Wish to thank each and every player, from the All-Americans down to the scout team players, for restoring our faith in the ability of a group of men to excel with integrity, class, and honor.

4. Look forward to seeing this team continue to improve and make believers of even the most cynical of College Football fans.

We, the undersigned, wish everyone associated with the Notre Dame Football Program to be made aware that we are proud of them, and proud to call ourselves fans of such worthy individuals.

GO IRISH!!

We will remember you as the team that laid the foundation. Sad today, but very proud.

Then there are people like this:

People are going to blast me for this comment (but it's been a long time coming, NOT just post-title game) but I hope Kelly leaves.

Plain and simple I don't like his demeanor. I think he wants to coach at a football factory, not ND. He has put us in a good spot though
