Wow, that's a very odd commitment IMO. He could have literally had his pick of many top tier programs. Maybe he wants to build something at UNC?

yea i know him and little both said how much they liked it at UNC when they went, also i think his brother being right up the road at duke may have some effect

Think about the house divided for the parents. Thankfully they aren't playing the same sports. We'd get beaten to death by ESPN with it, especially since that is their favorite rivalry.
it's rather telling to see how much of an impact clausen's commitment seems to have had on the recruiting world. clausen commits to the irish on saturday, mallet goes to u-m on monday, and paulus to unc today? three of the best qb's in the country are committed in april?!?

Somewhat off topic, but I think ND's chances with Greg Little are slipping. My guess is that he's going to either Michigan or UNC.
Little continues to talk about how he's looking at where the top QBs are going and he's keeping in touch with them. The articles have him coming across as being more concerned with where the top prep QBs are going than where he himself fits in.
If he is mentioning Notre Dame, the paysites aren't printing it lately.

Whoops...my bad. I got a bit overzealous in my post. I am actually glad that we are only playing them twice. I would rather we play more competitive teams than a patsy schedule. Is patsy even a word?
