Did anyone see where Tennessee Titans DB, Pacman Jones, was named in another altercation where police were called in? This was his 8th such occurence since joining the Titans. He was in Vegas last weekend for the NBA all-star game & caused a stir at a "gentleman's club". He allegedly punched a female dancer in the face. When the bouncer came to restrain Jones, Pacman's girlfriend hit the bouncer over the head w/ a champagne bottle. Jones ended up finding the dancer again & proceeded to beating her again w/ his fist. One of his posse later shot the aforementioned bouncer in the chest & another club employee in the spine leaving him a paraplegic. Of course, Jones is quoted as having nothing to do w/ the incident. When are pro teams going to quit enabling athletes like Lawrence Phillips, Christian Peter & Pacman Jones? The Titans knew this guy had a red flag on his character before they drafted him. Of course, Jones could be a victim of being at the wrong place (usually a club) at the wrong time (usually involving battery or gunplay).

Pacman Jones is just as bad as the bengals. Him and Chris Herny should hang out, I bet they won't get in to trouble.

You're a cincy fan too? How could you bring up the bengals when they are getting drowned out by Anna Nicole and Pacman news? Just because our sports teams suck, doesn't mean you have to remind everyone! Oh yea, it's really cold here too! :)

Yeah I know, but they are stupid so they should be made fun of all the time. Maybe then they will think twice.

Point taken, what the hell is going on with Justin Smith, btw??? I don't see him as a good franchisee tag. Too much money, so little upside.

Henry is an idiot, I'm not sure if he is a qualified thug at this point. Although I suspect if he pulls another stunt, he will end up like Odel Thurman

I think the Bengals should trade for PacMan. It would just complete everything. (note, I'm from the Cincinnati area).

But seriously, it's people like Henry that turn me off from the success the Bengals have been having. I can't cheer for guys like Henry and Thurman, etc, etc. seriously, everytime Henry made a play last year, I just thought about how he shouldn't even be on the field. And of course, I can't cheer for Chad Johnson, Carson, or T.J either, but it's not the same thing with them.

Yeah, I still remember Chad & TJ embarrassing ND in the Fiesta Bowl. I think the Beavers racked up more penalty yards (mostly unsportsmanlike penalties) vs. them than ND had on offense that night. Little did I know, at the time, that the Beavers would embarrass the Irish again in a lower tier bowl a few yrs later & then, of course, the disaster in the Sugar vs. LSU.

yes, I don't remember if chad or TJ actually had any of the unsportsmanlike penalties (although I do remember chad dropping the ball early in celebration before he went into the endzone on one TD), but that whole game just made me not like them or anyone else from Oregon St. The whole team seemed to lack in sportsmanship.

and now with the Bengals, I can stand TJ, but Johnson just really gets on my nerves.

Yeah, TJ seems to have some class in the interviews I've heard. But it's probably safe to say that Johnson was responsible for at least one of those unsportsmanlike penalties. But the team's character is usually reflected by that of the coach & in OSU's case that year, the name, Dennis Erickson, doesn't conjure up the words "integrity" or "class"

I think CJ has done some growing up since he was in school. He had a rough life growing up, and it seems to me that he is doing fairly well these days. For the most part, Johnson is doing it for humor and attention (its working well based on the commercials he is getting). I think most people see him as harmless and a positive on the team.

I wonder if schools who hire Erickson ever look at things like unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, complaints from the public, # of player arrests etc. before they hire him. He seems to attract thugs wherever he goes. Or do they only care about the number of wins?

Until schools stop firing coaches after a bad season or two, the cretins will continue to act as they are...desperate for talent, any talent.

Pac man wasnt arrested for what he did right

You are correct. He is being questioned about the event. But considering he instigated the debacle by throwng the cash in the year & hitting the stripper, I hold him responsible, too. It was the equivalent of yelling "Fire" in a movie theater. Still, unless you're Forrest Gump, how do you find yourself in the middle of so many brawls & "incidents" that require police intervention w/o there being a trend?
