Man, if I hear that phrase one more time, I'm going to scream. The positive: USC is absolutely outclassing Oklahoma in every facet even though it is only 14-7.
If they hang 50+ on Oklahoma, I don't think anyone could even consider Auburn a co-champ. I think USC is out to prove they were the true champs from last season.NDLyght37 said:I bet the folks down in Alabama are happy. Maybe Auburn can actually get a piece of the National Championship.
45-10 in the 3rd. Leinart is going pro.Svoboda said:If they hang 50+ on Oklahoma, I don't think anyone could even consider Auburn a co-champ. I think USC is out to prove they were the true champs from last season.
Yeah, you're probably right. Who knew USC was this good? I was hoping for an Oklahoma blowout (it might've helped the Tigers). But USC could be a dynasty in the making...I think even w/o Leinart, they could make a serious challenge for the title.Svoboda said:If they hang 50+ on Oklahoma, I don't think anyone could even consider Auburn a co-champ. Yeah, after this I don't think anyone can blame Ty for the loss to USC...lol. Apparently the Trojans are a team full of men who have been playing against a bunch of college kids every week.irishgo8 said:yep pro for Leinart and well to willinghams credit ND played USC better...if not for bad coaching final would have been 27-24
NDLyght37 said:Yeah, that's how it always is. Firts the title, then the scandal. But imagine how good this team would have been if Mike Williams was allowed to play. The NCAA kind of screwed the kid over, but I still think he'll be a solid pro prospect. I'd love it if Atlanta was able to steal him in the draft.

I don't know, I like 'em, but they've been used too many times the past few years. The perfect use was the Sugar Bowl against Florida, when we were 9-2 and the whole country was saying a 2-loss team didn't belong in a premeire bowl. Lou Holtz said, "Oh, yeah?" pulled out the greens, and held a coaching clinic for Steve Spurrier. We were truly underestimated that game, and the green jerseys did a great job of putting the exclamation point on the statement.Aerosmith777 said:God, I hate those damn green jerseys even more than I dislike Willingham...I'm hoping Weis isn't dumb enough to wear them EVER again, or if he does, make it against like Ball State or something...
LOL...Perfect representation of the Willingham Era...the promise & the frustration all in that one picture. I hated those green jerseys (Kelly green, right?). I think they were too slick or something, because every time the boys wore them, turnovers always seemed to follow.Vince Young said:Hmm... green jerseys with Coach Ty... With or without him, USC's got to be the favorite for #1 again. But if he does comeback, and Chow comes back...scary. I think Chow is the bigger loss than Leinart. If he leaves, then we will see how good Carroll really is.Aerosmith777 said:He's a junior, not a senior. But you're probly right, it'd most likely be in his best interests to go pro. Indeed. Cue the Imperial March. :starwars:NDLyght37 said:With or without him, USC's got to be the favorite for #1 again. But if he does comeback, and Chow comes back...scary.

Aerosmith777 said:Lol, San Fran is too cheap to draft a QB #1. They'll just trade down anyway. Besides, what do you need w/ Matt Leinart when you have Ken Dorsey on staff??? lol
(actually w/ a real o-line, and good west coast offensive coach, and some recievers, I think Dorsey wouldn't be half-bad at QB. unfortunately he has none of that right now)
