With Wells looking so fragile? LSU.

Not that I don't think the Buckeyes are damned good.

Gotta say LSU. It's not clear to me that tOSU has been a truly good opponent yet. PU kinda sucks which we showed in the second half of last week's game.

My top 5 is as follows:
LSU
Cal
tOSU
USF
BC

I think OSU is #1. They destroyed Northwestern (could have hung 100 on the Wildcats who are a true division 1 school btw). They beat the hell out of Washington. The defense looks just as good as usual. Chris Wells is an absolute beast and will probably get serious heisman hype next season. Then you have the receivers who just seem to keep stepping in, stepping in. All of a sudden, OSU is Wide Receiver U.

I thought the season depended on the qb Boeckman (sp?) and he has played well. I told my osu buddy before the season, there is not a single team on the schedule who can beat OSU except Michigan. Now it looks like they go undefeated. I hope they get to play LSU for the title. Im just happy I dont have to hear about Florida anymore.

This isn't even close, LSU would distroy OSU. It would be worse then the NC game last year.

LSU you wouldn't "destroy" OSU. Have you seen OSU's defense? They are by FAR the best in the country this year. It seems like every single play there are at least three OSU defenders on top of the opponent at the end of the play, seriously.

I will concede that if the two were to play right now it would be a close game with maybe LSU victorious. But as OSU's offense gains experience, especially #4 Small--the next Ginn, I think OSU will start to gain the edge. But they're such a dominant force on D that they can hang with anyone in the country. No one could "destroy" them, certainly.

My Rankings
1. LSU
2. OSU
3. ND

I agree that LSU SEEMS to be the better team. However, given what we have seen in the last couple weeks...I am hesitant to say that any team would destroy another.

Stanford were 44 point underdogs right?

40.5 at kickoff. As if there is much of a difference, at that point? Once you get above three or four touchdowns, you're a HUGE dog.

Looks pretty good to me. B.C. has a great team this year! Now that Florida has two losses in the SEC, who looks to play LSU in the SEC championship?

I'd still have LSU ranked as #1. I would put OSU second. That defense looks awful good(beware of the Sweater Vest!). Cal,BC and USF would round out my top 5

I think Tennessee controls it's destiny, then right behind them S.Carolina is very much in the mix, and if they can get a little help on Tennessee, then Florida has a very good shot at a rematch.

Who ever puts USF in the mix is an IDIOT they have been as lucky as any team in the country this decade. Any good major conferance team destroys them. OSU 42 USF 10

I've seen quite a bit of OSU this yr. There defense is amazing. There offense leaves a lot to be desired. There quarterback is average at best. He only has faith in one receiver. Once they go up against a top defensive team, they'll be in trouble. Ofcourse, Penn State will probably be the best they see this yr

i think you are really underestimating this team. They have one thing you can't coach...SPEED! There is usually a suprise team every year and this year I think its USF

Their defense has been lights out all year....great athletes at LB and in the secondary. I think they have two receivers that they can go to 80 & 9. Plus now that Small is healthy I think they will be even more dangerous. They need to rest up Wells this week.

Wells is key. He played high school ball in the neighboring community. He's a horse. I think OSU should consider using him more. Try throwing a screen to him or something. Get him one on one with a db and you'll see some of that power.

Wells has been awfully banged up going back to preseason, he's had a nagging ankle injury that he has been tweaking what seems like every game the last few weeks. However, the key to Ohio State's success lies in the shaking hands of Todd Boeckman, if he continues to turn the ball over this success we've been having will turn around real quick. I realize that he's not making them at inopportune times, but when the game is in the balance I don't know if he can take th pressure of having the game, and team on his shoulders. But we shall see, two more games until the Penn St., Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan part of the schedule comes up (the meat) so hopefully it all gets worked out prior to that!

OSU's defense is good but sorry their offense is not good enough to get more then a few field goals against LSU. I agree that OSU has no one on their schedule that will give them much trouble except Ill. I still say they beat them BIG....the big ten is down this year so if there is 3 teams that go undefeated I think OSU gets left out which would suck this year but really blow the BCS apart. I remember everyone talking about how good their defense was last year too...the SEC is a different animal! Sorry buckeye just being honest!

There is a difference between quite good and elite.

I would certainly say OSU is currently in the elite category of CFB, if there is one this year. Based on the past two weekends, no one is safe.

OSU has a lot coming back next year (unfortunately). They are losing only (3) seniors that are considered starters. It was nice see them get their clocked cleaned once again (deja vu to last year's NC game). It was NICE seeing the "melt down" on the O$U fans from mid-point of the 1st qtr. (jubilant assholes) thru the 3rd qtr. (dismayed pissheads) That's all the ass-wuppin' I cared to watch.
