Mascot planned attack; Ohio University tucks tail for mascot Bobcat's behavior vs. Ohio State Buckeyes - ESPN

Story on ESPN makes it better:

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Turns out, the Bobcat had it in for the Buckeye all along.

"It was actually my whole plan to tackle Brutus when I tried out to be mascot," said Brandon Hanning, formerly known as Ohio University's Rufus Bobcat. "I tried out about a year ago, and the whole reason I tried out was so I could come up here to Ohio State and tackle Brutus."

eh...not that impressive when you blindside somebody. I don't know which is better: the unplanned mascot fights or the prearranged mascot fights. Personally, I'd choose neither - just stay out of the way and let me watch the cheerleaders if I need a break from the action on the field.

I thought the idea behind it was a little childish and immature, but the end result was damn funny! Inappropriate as a representative of the school, but funny. That's what Ohio State gets for trying to beat up on poor little Ohio! :)
