For all you gamers out there... Baseball vids have been far behind football and hockey for years until MVP came out. In the last couple years the show and 2k7 were the only baseball games to come close to MVP since EA was pushed back to the college ranks... now this year's edition looks even better...

kids we have entered a world where football vids are now far behind hockey and baseball....

March 3rd.... EA lost the pro ball contract to 2k a few yeas back the same way EA bought the pro football... MVP basbeall is only a college baseball game now

I really hope this game steps it up this year. I have been waiting for a good baseball game for a while now. I even bought a PS2 last year just so I could play MVP College Baseball, which is a damn good game.

I have high expectations for 2K8...I've already pre-ordered my copy!

Yeah I'll be honest, after last year I'm happy with 2k but I'm sure the show will be a better game all in all... take a look at the vids I posted on the previous page... one of them is a game per game comparison of the two... the show looks a bit better to me but it's only on PS3... I have a 360... so I'm cool with 2k

Casey Kotchman is the most underrated player in the bigs I am convinced... people are SO taken by power numbers that if you don't bomb 25 plus a year you're considered garbage...

Kotchman's numbers were better than Justin Morneau in every category last year except RBI and HR's... even his slugging before he got hurt was much higher than Morneau's... yet Morneau is an MVP... Morneau is a great player believe me, I'm just using him to bring attention to Kotchman... No single player on the ANgels had more to do with the team's success than Kotchman last year... that's coming from an Angels fan who wacthed damn near every game...

BTW, he is the best defensive first basemen in baseball and deserved the gold glove last year... **** that gorilla biker from boston

also, lol at Jeff Kent as 88 overall

and Carlos Beltran a better player than Ichiro, Jeff Francoeur (another underrated wonder), Torii Hunter and others... I threw up in my mouth a bit on that one...

safe to say I'll be editing the rosters a lil bit

2k8 has some flaws but the controls and gameplay are the best of any sports game other than EA's NHL... if they patch up the framerate it'll be a truely excellent game...
